Sulfur is a byproduct of electric generation from coal, and it can be used for making fertilizers and other industrial uses. These byproducts can be well utilized in agriculture.
For national security and economic reasons, we should not discontinue our coal plants like the Campbell. Rather, we should fully utilize them to obtain needed resources, as well as generate electricity reliably and in an environmentally responsible manner.
