It should be noted that some parts of Ottawa County already successfully have local control of electric. This may be an especially opportune time, because there may be an interested data center willing to help in the financing of Campbell acquisition.

Here is one example news release of Consumers Energy: https://www.consumersenergy.com/news-releases/news-release-details/2024/12/11/consumers-energy-adds-enough-clean-energy-to-power-nearly-400k-homes-in-2024 This includes buying Michigan farmlands and forests and converting them into solar panel fields. Meanwhile, it plans to sock customers with many costs to keep Campbell open but largely unused, even though the Campbell does provide reliable baseload, and does not have all of the […]

MISO and NERC have been warning for many months about the dangers of the Net Zero plan which Consumers Energy/MPSC duo has us on. There are significant technical problems with the Net Zero plan. The skyrocketing electric costs in the UK of Net Zero are a warning. The recent blackout in Spain and Portugal are […]

The Consumers Energy/MPSC duo are Net Zero zealots, but the Net Zero path has major technical problems. Ottawa County needs political leaders willing to seriously consider the local control option in order to get us off this disastrous Net Zero train. One technical problem is described at https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1PfKaGh1tQ/?mibextid=wwXIfr. A related technical problem is described at […]

Our warnings about the regional grid and the need to “Save The Campbell” have not been “goofiness” as so many have asserted, nor have our warnings about the future Great Day of Judgment by Jesus Christ and the need for the USA to return to our founding Christian legal order been “goofiness”. Louisiana is part […]

Louisiana is part of our regional grid, and it is starting to experience rolling outages (load shedding): https://subscriber.politicopro.com/article/eenews/2025/05/27/trump-keeps-michigan-coal-plant-alive-00369769 The folly of the Net Zero agenda is already starting to be felt, as NERC and MISO had warned about. Frankly, even I am surprised of this development so soon. Load shedding is common in South Africa […]

Dear Members of the Township Boards of Ottawa County: We are thankful for the recent Trump Administration order temporarily pausing the Campbell closure[1] and the work of many of you that helped make it possible. More local involvement is now needed to save the Campbell on a longer term basis and secure a reliable, affordable […]
The Likely Energy Scenario If We Remain With the Consumers Energy/MPSC Duo : More Like the UK than South Africa For the Next 5 YearsThe Likely Energy Scenario If We Remain With the Consumers Energy/MPSC Duo : More Like the UK than South Africa For the Next 5 Years
I have purposefully not said we would have blackouts this summer, this winter, or the coming several years if we remain on the current Consumers Energy/MPSC “Net Zero” track. We will likely be much more like the UK than South Africa in our energy circumstances. The UK is much further down the Net Zero path […]

Rob Hersov does a good job of explaining: Current South African President Rhamaposa says the South African government should confiscate white-owned land, even without payment, consistent with Marxist ideology: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1178138157445460 . This land confiscation without even payment is now the law in South Africa. It is consistent with the common DEI view in the USA […]
