There are many parallels between Alberta versus Canada and Ottawa County versus Michigan on the topic of energy and local control of land, except our County Board is caving to unconstitutional mandates whereas Albertan leadership is not.
Ottawa County should not cave to the Net Zero agenda. We need county leaders who will stand up to Whitmer-led MPSC/Consumers Energy and say no.
Closing and demolishing the Campbell rather than developing it so Ottawa County is an electricity and data center powerhouse is anti-Ottawa County. In contrast, Net Zero takes us to energy failure and misuse of our farmlands.
