Georgetown Township is on course for doing the same, after a unanimous vote of support of its Utilities Committee. Other area boards are showing positive indications of support.
The goal is for all Ottawa County town and county boards to do the same, in order to send a unified message that the Campbell plant closure and demolition should be delayed from its currently planned 2025 timeframe.
