Here are the very words of the President and CEO of CMS/Consumers Energy:

cleaner, and more prosperous tomorrow as we continue to lead the Clean Energy
Transformation. As we make important investments in wind, solar, and battery storage,
we are shaping a more dynamic and diversified energy mix to support customer
demand and an ever-changing, weather-driven landscape.“

The “Clean Energy Transformation” is just another way of describing the Net Zero Agenda of wind/solar/battery replacement of fossil fuel plants. Consumers Energy both builds its own, as well as contracts with globalist corporations like Key Capture and RWE, to build dangerous battery storage plants and solar panel field developments, while seeking to demolish fossil fuel plants.

Consumers Energy executives and investors are handsomely rewarded in money for being the primary vehicle of the Net Zero Agenda of the Whitmer-appointed MPSC which regulates them and determines their profits. As their President and CEO says:

“More importantly, we continue to align our operational performance with our promise
to provide consistent, industry-leading financial results. With 138 years of service, CMS
Energy continues to have one of the highest multiples in the Utility sector.”

Is it really in Ottawa County’s interest to keep this arrangement, or should we replace Consumers Energy in Ottawa County with a locally controlled member-owned electric cooperative that serves our interests?
