A challenge to area Democrats regarding Campbell wastewater: join us in recommending treatment and re-use, or present a better alternative

I appreciate that many area Democrats publicized the problems of Consumers Energy’s deep injection plan for the Campbell wastewater, and were among those who voiced their concerns at the recent public hearing, but now I challenge area Democrats to either join those of us Republicans who recommend the alternative of treatment and commercial re-use of the wastewater, such as for data center cooling system, or else present a clear alternative along with financial analyses like we have done. I also challenge and encourage Democrats to join us in lobbying the County Board to weigh in on this important matter with potentially long-term impact on our county.
