I am posting this NOT to argue for demolition of gas plants, but as part of my argument that it does not make sense to demolish coal plants like Campbell with $1 billion of anti-polluting equipment invested in them and putatively substitute Covert gas plant and de-commissioned Palisades nuclear reactor. (Not that Consumers built Covert; they just bought it from some other party, adding nothing to the national grid.)
